About Betty
Betty J. Head
Betty J. Head grew up in a small farming town in Mississippi without books to read in her home. When she had her own children, she vowed to fill her home with books for them; and when they grew up, she started collecting books for youths in need.
She has her master’s degree in public administrations from The Ohio State University with a specialization in criminal justice correctional administration. Betty has used her diverse talents to support executives in various fields: education, human resources, affordable housing, automotive, legal, and medical.
Betty loves to use her art to encourage everyone she meets. She enjoys spending time with family, gardening, creating music, and writing. She has written and produced a song titled “Total Praise,” which can be found on her YouTube channel.
Betty is the founder of For You Publishing LLC. Skyrootalus and the Three Feisty Fawns is her first picture book. She lives in Dublin, Ohio, with her husband Christopher, and their children, Joy, and Chris.
